Possum
Lynette is napping on the couch when her doctor shows up at the house. Lynette is up off the couch in a flash. He’s happy to tell her that she’s clear of cancer. Lynette looks stunned. And then she walks out to the backyard where she stares up at the sky with a new appreciation. She is victorious. She’s got her life back. And that’s when she spots the dead possum and she apologizes to it. Then she cries.
